The light used in the treatment is selectively absorbed by melanin which is the pigment that gives hair its colour. This disrupts the growth of the unwanted hair without damaging the surrounding skin cells. Many of our clients start to see brilliant results in just a few treatments!

IPL uses scattered light across many wavelengths. The Motus AX is a true Alexandrite laser with a single, focused wavelength tuned to target the hair, which makes it more effective and more comfortable than IPL for most people, and better suited to a range of skin types.
It also tends to need fewer sessions than IPL to reach a clear, lasting reduction.
