Thread veins known as red veins, spider veins and broken veins are a common problem affecting all ages and genders.
Around 80% of the population are affected by thread veins at some time in their lifetime and although unsightly, they are harmless and easily reduced. Thread veins appear as thin red or purple blood vessels on the surface of the skin and can cause the face to have an overall red appearance. Unlike varicose veins, they do not bulge underneath the skin and can be treated very quickly in clinic.
Sterex and IPL are two very effective and efficient treatments to tackle unwanted thread veins, milia, cherry spots, skin tags or warts.
Performed by our Senior Aesthetic Practitioner, your appointment will begin with a consultation to discuss the best method and approximate length of time for the removal of your skin imperfections. The treatment usually lasts from thirty to forty-five minutes, so you can be in and out of the clinic without the treatment having an impact on your day.
