Polynucleotides

What Are Polynucleodtides?

Polynucleotides are a new concept of regenerative medicine using DNA stands, which promote cell turnover, improve skin elasticity and hydration, heal sun damaged skin, and improve photoaging and acne scarring, giving a more nourished, healthy, and revitalised complexion. The innovative concept comes from a by-product of the salmon industry from the lakes of Italy. The purification process is so high that this treatment is safe for those with fish allergies.

FAQs

Depending on your needs, you can have up to three to five treatments spaced 2-4 weeks apart.
You will have maintenance every six months.

Results will continue to develop and are evident from two-three months post-injection.

We offer various Polynucleotide treatments tailored for different areas. These include high-concentration Polynucleotides for the body and face, especially significantly damaged and thicker skin or scarring.
Medium concentration Polynucleotides for facial and neck areas or for younger patients. Low concentration Polynucleotides for the area around the eyes, eyebrows, scalp or beard. A special product in the range when Polynucleotides are mixed with Hyaluronic Acid fillers for bio-regeneration and lifting with one treatment.

Polynucleotides are used to rejuvenate the skin and improve overall skin quality whilst dermal fillers add volume to treated areas, to give structure, definition, and contour to the face.

While both treatments are highly effective, they each have their own ideal candidate. Polynucleotides are fantastic for the more mature age group as they regenerate sagging and dehydrated skin and thickens the tissues. It also lasts longer than Profhilo – up to six months after three treatments.
Profhilo contains the highest concentration of Hyaluronic Acid which is a naturally occurring substance that is responsible for maintaining moisture within our skin.
They can work incredibly well together to enhance the hydration levels in the skin, so this is an ideal treatment combination for those with very dry skin and also younger skins to prevent dehydration lines.

You may experience some redness, swelling and bruising after your treatment due to the injection sites.

Yes, you can combine with Laser Skin Rejuventation, Radio Frequency, Dermal Fillers, Botox and Profhilo – we call this Skin Priming as it will enhance the results.
